Image Capture

It's difficult to quantify something as intangible as innovation, but The Fitch Group’s sustained growth through multiple waves of change and its use of new technology is testimony to their inventiveness.

There is no better example of this inventiveness then how The Fitch Group has developed its traditional (analog) legal copy operation (est. 1947) into a diverse and full service digital document management organization.

Image capture (a.k.a. scanning) of documents is of course the foundation from which any successful digitized data management platform is base.

The process of image capture (a.k.a. scanning) of original documents requires having the right equipment, the appropriate technology (i.e. software) and most importantly, having a competent and experienced staff.

In terms of hardware, our primary equipment of choice are the Canon 105s & Fujitsu scanners which are some of the standards of the industry and meet even the most demanding levels of productivity.

In terms of software, our primary O/S is from IPRO Tech—one of the leaders in image capture/database management technology.

IPRO Tech offers a diverse suite of solutions from robust imaging—"intelligent scanning"--, multiple boundry level hierarchy, many powerful annotating and indexing tools all of which is made possible via the methods by which our operators capture the original document’s image.

The electronic files that are produced can be used with not only IPRO's numerous database applications but of course with any of today's other popular document management systems, Dataflight's Concordance®, JFS Litigator's Notebook®, Summation®, Ringtail, and Introspect to name but a few.

Digital Printing of Electronic Files

Digital printing requests of digitized files are a common request that is associated with scanning and data management services.

Our print production workflows utilize state-of-the-art equipment to produce your printing needs (commonly referred to as "blowbacks"). The Fitch Group is capable of printing hundreds of thousands of pages per day and our highly trained document specialist will expertly reassemble the blowback sets to match that of the original document construction is so requested.
